Today we’re talking about the original GPS — God’s Positioning System.
Most of us have used a GPS before. We put in a destination, and it gives us directions to get there. But sometimes we ignore the instructions, take a different route, or think we know a better way. Then we find ourselves lost, delayed, or having to recalculate.
And if we’re honest, sometimes we do the same thing with God.
God gives us direction. He gives us wisdom. He gives us instructions through His Word and through His Spirit. But there are moments when we choose our own timing, our own plans, and our own way—only to realize that we moved outside of the position He was trying to lead us into.
But what I love about God is that He does not abandon us when we get off course. He is a God who redirects us, corrects us, and calls us back into alignment with His purpose.
And that’s what we’re talking about today—not just where we are going, but whether we are positioned where God wants us to be.
Because sometimes the delay isn’t because God forgot about us. Sometimes He is trying to reposition us.
The question is:
Are we willing to trust God’s GPS, follow His direction, and obey even when His route looks different from our plans?
